Dr Kamel Bouallaga

Kamel is a Chartered Engineer and owner of DRK Design Consulting, with more than 20 years experience in industry. He has worked in the aerospace, automotive, defence and energy sectors. He has been involved in embedded systems applications such as electrical vehicles, space launchers and missile control. He has led large multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to resolve complex engineering challenges.
Prior to moving to the industry, he was teaching in Lebanon, South Africa and France and gives guest lectures on Hybrid technology vehicles at University College of London and Université de Cergy Pontoise.
He is the inventor or co-inventor of 9 patents on machine control and energy systems and is a reviewer of IEEE and IET transactions. Kamel holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the Energy Institute.
